This warranty covers any defect in workmanship or materials for a determined period of time. That period shall be one year from date of installation provided the client is participating in Precision Lawn Care, Inc. (PLC, Inc.) weekly maintenance. The basic warranty is valid through 90 days from date of installation and there is also an option to purchase additional warranty time above this primary 90 days.
PLC, Inc. will replace free of charge any plant that dies providing that it was furnished and installed by PLC, Inc. This warranty DOES NOT cover plant death due to improper watering techniques or acts of nature (i.e. lightening, insect attacks). We highly recommend that you purchase a moisture meter to determine when your plants need water.
Our experience has taught us that certain plants will not grow well in this climate so we will not warranty Canadian Hemlocks, Leyland Cypress, Creeping Gardenia, Daphne, Rhododendron (big leaf variety) and all transplants. This warranty does not cover sod.
In matters of dispute, the deciding factor will be analysis by the University of Georgia. Samples will need to be taken as directed and mailed with any necessary test fees to the University testing labs. If the cause of death is determined to be under the control of PLC, Inc., then PLC, Inc. will replace the plant(s) in question and refund all costs associated with the testing process.
